Bia�ystok School of Economics - Project's leader
Bia�ystok School of Economics was established in 1996 (entered into the National Education Ministry's register of private institutions of higher education on 5 th of January 1996 under position 77). Currently there are about 3,300 students enrolled at BSE and 3,400 students have already graduated. The School offers three courses: economics, international relations and IT and econometrics. Its offer also includes postgraduate programs, courses and training. Apart from its didactics, it is also active in the field of academic research and projects.

Within the activities of the Center for Research and Analyses has realized projects financed from external sources such as:

•  PHARE 2000 Human Resource Development - Training and Business Advising for People Threatened by Unemployment" - Podlaskie Voivodship- Poland ;

•  PHARE 2001 "Human Resource Development - Promotion of Hiring and HRD" - Podlaskie Voivodship - Poland ;

The Bia�ystok Foundation for Staff Development (BFKK)
The Bia�ystok Foundation for Staff Development has been in operation since 1991. The goal of its activity is, among others, to prepare staff for the needs of modern management of enterprise and public institutions in the market economy, to disseminate the newest methods of management, to develop cooperation and foreign contacts so that national managerial staff could approach, acquire and use the skills and experiences of western businesspeople regarding the domain of management. Its aims are realized through:
Organizing and co-financing of staff training, creating the conditions for professional perfection of the training academic-didactic staff, publishing its own training and information-advertising materials, initiating foreign and national contacts in order to obtain funds and organizational-technical conditions for realizing statutory tasks, running your business within the confines of providing services for national and foreign bodies, the profits of which are spent on realization of Foundation's statutory goals.

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bia�ystok
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bia�ystok is a regional organization of economic self-government acting in the Podlaskie Voivodship. It was founded in 1991 by a group of 50 entrepreneurs and was based on the Act on economic chambers. Currently, the Chamber is one of the biggest and most dynamic organizations assembling economic bodies of the north-eastern Poland . The Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Bialystok is a member of the Polish Chamber of Commerce which was founded by it.

The basic aim and mission of the Chamber is the integration of business scene. Acting on its behalf, it forms a bridge of cooperation between the economic milieu and administrative authorities on the local, voivodship and central levels as well as other structures acting on economy such as job centers, academic and training centers, development and planning centers, and those that shape public opinion.

The Institution for Professional Training in Bia�ystok

ZDZ Bia�ystok

ZDZ Bia�ystok is one of the oldest (in the north-eastern Poland ) educational and training firms acting as an association of natural persons based on Associations Act at the 7 th of April 1989 . Professional education of adults and the graduates of secondary and professional schools is the firm's main activity in different vocational specializations such as the typically manual ones like bricklayer, locksmith, welder, trolley operator as well as computer graphics, book-keeping, marketing or enterprise consultant (among many others). The content-related supervision of the training activity is the responsibility of Education and Training Team which was formed especially for this purpose. Apart from the education of youth, it also trains teaching personnel in the Teacher Training Center . These training sessions are mainly focused on the matters of didactic measurement, use of computer science at school, the management of education, pedagogical preparation as well as many others.
